Hey Beautiful Lady,

When I drove by my new home site the other day, I was surprised to see the contractors had broken ground.   What once was a patch of grass with a mixture of weeds, metal pieces from other new home sites, and some tire marks now officially marked the beginning of “the process” towards building my dream home.  I have to be honest with you; I felt this sudden rush of emotions so much so that I had to pull over. My home site! Yippee! That day I was reminded of the power of creation and dreams.   This piece of land would soon become a home I only imagined in my dreams or perhaps drooled over in magazines.  What once seemed like a lonely piece of land surrounded by other completed “immaculate homes” was now going through an entire birthing process to become what it was intended to become.  The only piece of land left on the cul-de-sac and the last to be created, it was still completely “on time” with its purpose and for the intention for which this home would soon serve.  You are also on time.  You also have a purpose.

What do you want to create? What do you want to build?  Do you feel like your desires are only long lost dreams that may become true “only” if the timing is right?  Guess what?  The timing will never be perfect.  The money will never be enough.  The support will never be ideal 100% of the time.  It is up to you, my friend, to take a single step every day towards that “thing” you cannot shake.  A career, a relationship, an investment, a business, a lifestyle change or anything else you seem to not be able to let go of does require action from you.  Why else do you think the feeling will not go away?  It can’t because it was strategically and divinely placed within your heart to build.  It is part of your story, your purpose and your plan.

A quote I keep in my home office is a beautiful reminder of what I am trying to open your mind to today, which reads like this:

The two most powerful warriors are patience and time.

Leo Tolstoy

Just like my new home, it takes time to build what you want to create in this life and it takes a heck of a lot of patience, especially if you want to build a business, add a tier to your business, change careers, write a book, or anything else you know you were intended to step towards.  You didn’t just “dream” of this “thing” you can’t shake overnight, so it will not be built overnight.   You have to work at it daily, big or small, it doesn’t matter.  Just stay in front of it. Successful people know this:

Motivation gets you going, and habit gets you there.

Zig Ziglar

Before I go, remember negative self -talk and drunken monkey mind will keep you stuck.  When you are stuck, things seem dark and pointless so you naturally just shed the effort you know you need to exhibit to get to where you want to go.  This stinks for not only you, but for others who need to benefit from what you were intended to do or be in this big world.  When the going gets tough always remember:

God doesn’t always smooth the path, but sometimes He puts springs in the wagon.

Marshall Lucas

It is my intention that this email allows you to go find your springs and push forward! Connect with what you can’t shake and go with it. Then you must package it with purpose, clarity, and direction! Need help with that?  See below!

My upcoming SPARKLE for Life and Business School is scheduled to launch in the fall, hopefully right around the same time my electronic copy of my book is published!  The fall is going to be a mover and a shaker for me!  Embracing the awesomeness!  Keep your eyes peeled for enrollment information (sorry the inner educator in me is busting at the seams)!

XOXO!
