Do you know what happiness means specifically to you?

I talk to a lot of people throughout the week, both men & women.  I finally noticed a trend and further researched this trend just to find credible research to support my perspectives.  Many people do not know “how to” recognize happiness.  Now that might sound crazy to you and to be dreadfully honest with you, I was shocked too but then I got to thinking!

“If you don’t have peace, it isn’t because someone took it from you; you gave it away. You cannot always control what happens to you, but you can control what happens in you.”

Having a relationship with happiness….

Unless you have a relationship with happiness, it is hard to recognize it.  However, having a relationship with happiness means you need to unearth some inner feelings, desires, wants, and dreams.  So how do I do that, you might be thinking?  Well it is simple…

It is time to clean up your MENTAL ENVIRONMENT….

Many women love the spring so that they can just overhaul their entire house and get to scrubbing, clearing, and renovating to some capacity.  Yet, I hardly hear anyone saying that they are going to spring clean their mind.  What memories, mistakes, fears, or situations still haunt you in your mind and keep you playing a much smaller game?  What limiting beliefs enter your mind and drain your mojo?  Why not make some space so that happiness can enter your mind, body and soul, so that you can easily capture & recognize happiness?

Why are so many people unhappy?

I believe it is because they are fixated on materialistic happiness or they are trying to be someone they are not.  In my industry, I see so many women trying to set their goals and measure their happiness by observing what others are doing or seeking.  Yet, we were all divinely designed to cash in on our own gifts.  We were packaged for success, peace, happiness, and abundance. Sadly so many people do not realize this.

Happiness is deserved….

Did you know you deserve to be happy?  Happiness is often looked at as “out of someone’s reach” when truly people get in the way of their own happiness.  So what can you do today?  You can start by clearing the emotional clutter so that this will help you feel mentally free and spacious.  Start to shed feeling of worry, anxiety, bitterness, shame, regret, fear, and isolation.  Give yourself permission to “be” and allow yourself to be imperfect.  Perfection is for the birds!

“Know who you are, and be it. Know what you want, and go out and get it!”
